About Wildflowers by Donna

Back to the Home Page

This web page is a way for me to share some of my favorite photographs with friends and others who are interested in wildflowers. These photographs were taken with a Nikon Coolpix 950, mostly on hiking trails in the state of Washington. Native plants of the forests of western Washington dominate the collections, but some flowers of the sagebrush steppes of eastern Washington and non-native weeds are included. For those of you who wish to learn more about wildflowers, a profile of each flower has been included. I hope this adds to your appreciation of the beauty of the flowers and the wonders of nature!
